What is it? CAP Infinity Basic 2.0 is an introduction course for Community Action staff. Objectives for this course include explaining what makes a Community Action Agency, identifying partner organizations, differentiating between mission, vision, and values, concluding how to be strategic in your position, explaining continuous improvement, setting effective goals and identifying key steps in action plans to achieve those goals, a high-level understanding of how data is used in Community Action, and explaining the Organizational Wellness Model for Community Action.

Who is it for?  New employee onboarding, frontline staff, and anyone in need of learning Community Action fundamentals.

What is it? This course covers topics like advanced organizational tools, problem-solving strategies, coaching and mentoring techniques, project management, and in-depth SWOT and SOAR analysis. It's designed to provide a comprehensive training experience that strengthens individual skills and the collective capabilities of the Community Action network.

Who is it for? This course is ideal for Community Action leaders, managers, department heads, senior staff, or professionals who have completed CAP Infinity Basic 2.0 or possess a solid foundation in continuous improvement principles. Whether you're looking to build on your existing knowledge or jump into more advanced topics, CAP Infinity Intermediate 2.0 offers flexibility to accommodate different experience levels.

What is it? Community Action has always understood that data is more than numbers — it is relationships, responsibility, and reflection. The purpose of this course is to deepen that understanding and help Community Action Agencies (CAAs) use the data they already collect in ways that strengthen care, strategy, and connection to community.

Across the lessons, you’ll explore the practices, questions, and habits that help data become part of how your agency listens to your community, makes decisions, and measures progress in a values-aligned way.

Who is it for? This is a data course designed for CAA leaders, managers, and emerging data stewards who want to move from “reporting data” to using data meaningfully — to learn, align, advocate, and act with intention. It is not a technical training.

What is it? CAP Infinity Boards Basic 2.0 is designed to help board members better understand what makes up a Community Action Agency and to learn how to be a strategic board member with a focus on continuous improvement.

Who is it for? CAP Infinity Board Basic 2.0 is designed as an introduction course for board members of Community Action Agencies across Pennsylvania to fulfill the continuous improvement training requirements from DCED Directives C2022-02 and C2022-03. The Basic course will fulfill the DCED requirements. 

What is it? CAP Infinity Boards Intermediate 2.0 focuses on goals and action plans. It provides a high-level overview of how data is used in Community Action and explains the Organizational Wellness Model for Community Action Agencies.

Who is it for? CAP Infinity Boards Intermediate 2.0 is designed for board members of Community Action Agencies across Pennsylvania to fulfill the continuous improvement training requirements from DCED Directives C2022-02 and C2022-03. It builds upon the basic tenants to further drive continuous improvement.
